About the Artist
From a very young age, I’ve always found joy in drawing, painting and decorating. It was my dream to pursue a creative career, so I went on to study art and earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Honours) in Visual Studies from the University of Calgary in 2017.
The concept of Seeking Light Studio was born out of a transitional period in my life, where I found happiness by leaning into the moments that lit me up, reinvigorating my artistic practice. I discovered the wedding stationery world when I offered to design the invitation suite for my sister’s wedding. I completely fell in love with the process - from creating the initial sketches, designing the layout, curating embellishments, and assembling the suite. It was the perfect intersection of my love for art, design and styling.
My style is influenced by my fine art background - you will find a lot of hand-painted elements, charcoal sketches, and watercolour accents. I sincerely hope my work will spark joy for your special day.
